The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The sassa status intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The service point established for intervention activities a substantial influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and increase use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
