False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start out at NCV level 2 and also the minimum amount prerequisite would then be website Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, becoming equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two that is equivalent to an NQF level two.
